I was born in 1961 in Offenbach/Main. After an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and several years of professional activity at a health insurance fund, I studied chemistry and history for teachers at lower and intermediate secondary schools at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University (Frankfurt/Main). I later acquired an instructor’s certificate in physics by taking a supplementary examination. I work as a teacher of chemistry and physics at Geschwister-Scholl-Schule (Offenbach).
